What Does the Solar Eclipse in Virgo Mean?
The Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees Virgo continues our eclipse season experience that started with the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on September 7, 2025.
Now that we are getting the next “installment” of eclipse season, it is best to surrender to the major disruptions in the Virgo house so that you can make space for greater meaning and purpose.
***Eclipses can do several things: take something away that we thought we needed for the better, or simply remove something for a little while, just for it to come back later.
Take a look at your birth chart to see which house Virgo rules for you, for that is where you will experience a significant ending.
But let’s dive deeper and see what we as a collective are going through with the Solar Eclipse in Virgo.
Virgo is the sign that is concerned with practicality, organization, and tidiness.
If any of these things that represent Virgo have been in the air for you, prepare for a major shift because the eclipses are the Divine’s way of addressing the issue.
The South Node is conjunct the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo, which represents a moment when the Moon is perfectly aligned with the Sun, and from the Earth’s perspective, the Sun is eclipsed by the Moon for a moment.
Since the South Node represents past lives, karma, release, and spirituality, you can expect a manifestation along these lines.
Depending on how you handle change, it could be a relief, liberating and exciting, or fear-invoking, increasing anxiety and chaos in your life.

During this eclipse, you may discover new emotions about how you are conducting your life and whether it is practical or not.
You may also find that what is removed from your life is a great opportunity to clean up your act and move forward in a straightforward, calmer manner.
Saturn Retrograde will be in direct opposition to the New Moon Solar Eclipse, and this could invoke more fear, anxiety, and almost like a crackdown on reality.
But this opposition doesn’t mean you must act on this fear.
The best way to work with Saturn’s energy here is to bring awareness to the situation and see where you have control and where you must let go.
Saturn intends to help you take responsibility for your life and your relationships. This energy or experience is not “out to get you.”
However, if you ignore the signs, it will only make things harder for you.
Neptune is also a part of this conversation, so this could make this eclipse experience a little hazy and confusing, but if you don’t make sudden decisions during this time, you should be fine!
Just see the eclipse manifestation as a show, and you get to watch karma play out with all of the luminous colors and theatrics.
So, remember to take it easy with this experience and avoid making your situation more complicated than it needs to be.
