What Does the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius Mean?
The Solar Eclipse at 28 degrees Aquarius begins our eclipse series in Aquarius and Leo. The last time we felt upheavals here was on August 18, 2016, and they ended in early 2019.
Now that we are getting the next “installment” after so many years, but the roles have reversed due to the North Node being in Aquarius and the South Node being in Leo, it is best to surrender to the major disruptions in the Leo/Aquarius houses so that you can make space for greater meaning and purpose here.
***Eclipses can do several things: take something away that we thought we needed for the better, or simply remove something for a little while, just for it to come back later.
Take a look at your birth chart to see which house Aquarius rules for you, for that is where you will experience a significant beginning.
But let’s dive deeper and see what we as a collective are going through with the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius.
Aquarius is the sign that is concerned with rebellion, innovation, and humanity.
If any of these things that represent Aquarius have been in the air for you, prepare for a major shift because the eclipses are the Divine’s way of addressing the issue.
The North Node is copresent by degree with the New Moon in Aquarius, which represents a moment when the Moon is almost aligned with the Sun, and, from the Earth’s perspective, the Sun is partly eclipsed by the Moon.
Since the North Node represents developments, destiny, and quantum leaps, you can expect a manifestation along these lines, and it could feel rapid and even chaotic.
During this eclipse, you may discover new emotions about how you are conducting your life and whether you need to break your own status quo. Especially with The Solar Eclipse squaring Uranus in Taurus, amping up the rebellious energy more.
Now that the ruler of the Moon, Saturn, is back in Aries for good and conjunct Neptune, we could feel overall disillusioned about reality, and just ready for a change.
We may start to move in a different direction that calls us to be a pioneer in something, especially wherever Aries is placed in your chart. And with all the energy in Aquarius due to the stellium (Pluto, Mars, Moon, and the Sun), the wind is pushing us to do so.
