What Does the Full Moon in Leo Mean?
The Full Moon in Leo reflects a grand time to pause and reflect so that you can honor yourself and what makes you shine.
As with any Full Moon, you can make time to reflect, acknowledge how far you’ve come, and celebrate how much you’ve developed since the New Moon in Leo on July 24, 2025.
No matter if this span of time that you allot to reflect is 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or the whole day, anytime is better than no time.
Drop into the invitation of the Moon to acknowledge where you are and the habits that got you here. Although it could feel overwhelming or difficult, the medicine of this Moon is to tap into what makes you feel alive, even if it might feel strange or foreign to you.
During this Full Moon, the Sun (ruler of this Moon) is in its detriment, Aquarius, signifying that we are still in winter (in the northern hemisphere) and that the days are slowly growing and nights are slowly shortening.
Because the days are shorter than the nights, it suggests the Sun is not at its strongest, and thus we too are wrestling with winter blues, the dark night of the soul, or generally feeling strange or off.
However, this does not mean that we must dwell here, even though there is a stellium happening in Aquarius (Pluto, Mars, Sun, Venus, and Mercury).
The Full Moon in Leo can help us remember what lights us up, what makes us shine, and what gives our lives meaning.
We can entertain ourselves with these things behind closed doors or share them with others if we feel comfortable doing so.
But overall, remembering the Light will always return, and it is within our power to call it is what the Full Moon is doing its best to reflect back to us.
May this Full Moon show you what you need and that the Stars align in your favor!
